Refund Policy<\/h2>

This Refund Policy explains when you are and are not entitled to a refund of fees paid to Indian Art Contest (“we”, “us”, “our”) for participation in our art and craft contests. It applies alongside our Terms & Conditions<\/a> and forms part of the agreement you accept when you register.<\/p>

1. General Rule<\/h5>

Registration fees are non-refundable<\/strong> once payment is successfully processed. This is because your slot, category placement, and any early-bird discount are confirmed immediately on payment, and judging and certificate preparation costs begin as soon as registrations close.<\/p>

2. When a Refund Will Be Considered<\/h5>

We will consider a refund in the following situations:<\/p>

2.1. Duplicate or failed payment<\/strong> \u2014 you were charged more than once for the same registration, or your payment failed but the amount was still deducted from your account.<\/p>

2.2. Service not delivered by us<\/strong> \u2014 we cancel a contest season after registrations have opened and do not reschedule or offer an equivalent season within 90 days.<\/p>

2.3. Technical error on our end<\/strong> \u2014 We can issue a refund if there is a technical problem and we can\u2019t help you to resolve the matter.<\/span><\/p>

In these cases, the refund will be for the amount actually affected (e.g. the duplicate charge, or the full registration fee for a cancelled season).<\/p>

3. When a Refund Will NOT Be Given<\/h5>

To be transparent, refunds will not<\/strong> be issued for:<\/p>

3.1. Change of mind after registering.<\/p>

3.2. Missing the artwork submission deadline after registering (“register now, submit later” does not extend past the stated deadline).<\/p>

3.3. Disqualification for violating the Code of Conduct in our Terms & Conditions (e.g. submitting non-original or inappropriate work).<\/p>

3.4. Dissatisfaction with judging decisions or contest results \u2014 all judging decisions are final.<\/p>

3.5. Entering the wrong age category or providing incorrect registration details.<\/p>

4. How to Request a Refund<\/h5>

4.1. Email indianartcontest@gmail.com<\/strong> with your registered name, payment reference\/transaction ID, and the reason for your request.<\/p>

4.2. Refund requests must be raised within 7 days<\/strong> of the payment date. Requests raised after this window will not be eligible for processing, in line with our Terms & Conditions.<\/p>

4.3. We may ask for proof of payment (such as a screenshot or transaction ID) to verify the claim before processing.<\/p>

5. Refund Timeline & Method<\/h5>

5.1. Approved refunds will be processed within \u00a07\u201310 business days<\/strong> of approval.<\/p>

5.2. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout, through our payment gateway. We do not process refunds via cash, UPI transfer to a different account, or any method other than the original payment route, unless this is not technically possible.<\/p>

6. Contest Cancellation or Postponement<\/h5>

If we cancel or postpone a contest season for reasons beyond our reasonable control (as described under Force Majeure in our Terms & Conditions), we will, at our discretion, either:<\/p>

  • Carry your registration forward to the next season at no extra cost, or<\/li>
  • Issue a full refund of your registration fee.<\/li><\/ul>

    We will communicate which option applies on the website and\/or via the contact details you provided at registration.<\/p>
